The little things in life that make me happy: -Riding the bus through DC because it reminds me how much I love my city. -Sitting and readin a good book. -When my mommy cornrows or twists my hair...I still like it best when she does it. -When I log onto AIM and lots of people IM at the same time -Just chillin' w/ best friend and watching TV -Listening to the radio as I get ready in the morning...my day isn't right if I can't hear Russ Parr in tha AM...how I miss it while I'm at school :???: -Watching my little cousins play and be happy... -Seeing cute little children at church with their families. -When people(no matter how well they know me) take time to hear my problems and care enough to help me. -Reading a good issue of the Maroon Tiger -Seeing the men of CAU/Morehouse/&neighboring schools DRESSED UP every Sunday morning for church. What Impresses Me... -Young men my age who still value their religion and will even go to church on their own...on a Sat. evening no less. -Brothas who are comfortable enough to express their feelings and don't feel compelled to act "hard" Unusual Things I Find to be Funny.... -When I find typos in newspapers That's it for now....thinking about this did make me smile. :-)

eating something new that tastes really good drinking smoothies watching kids' tv shows (makes me not have to stress for 30 minutes) walking around barefoot outside having my mom yell at me for never wearing shoes when i should buying cds or books being in a library is really comforting to me writing something that i like and am excited to share is the best feeling someone asking me how i'm doing and not asking for my number right after makes my day

things that make me happy.... having a 30 minute to an hour phone conversation with my niece who is only 2 having my brother call me everyday just because he is bored being able to say that mother gets on my nerves hearing the voice of someone special that i haven't heard from in a while hearing my brother say that i am his heart and he will do anything for me hearing my sister tell me if i need anything i better call her being on the phone with my best girls for hours talking about nothing but it's something challenging boys at video games having someone compliment me when i wasn't even trying be back later with answers to the other 2 questions...
