Let's clarify this one..... In the painting, yes there were more than seven men in that picture. Tis is true. I guess you have to understand the hidden message given in this painting. So let me enlighten you. If you look closely, you will see that there are Seven men seated around the table of Brotherhood actually pushing forth the idea to create Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and yes those are MY Seven Jewels you see around the table whether they like them to you or not. As for the man you see with his back turned walking out the door, that represents the "precursor" of our Dear Fraternity (C.C. Poindexter) turning his back on the ideal of creating a Fraternity. The other gentleman you see seated in the background would be George Tompkins who decided also not to partake in the fraternal plan. So maybe you didn't understand the purpose behind the painting, can't knock you for that. I guess its one of those times when a little knowledge has to be dropped on the situation. Its cool though 8) .... Be Easy!!!!
