Prospective Spelman Women

this thread is for high school seniors who are HIGHLY interesed in attending Spelman College

They sent me a letter in the mail saying that they wanted to learn more about my interests in spelman, my studies and other info that will help with regarding my application. I wish they would just accept me already!

Make sure u take advantage of those extra things they ask for and really express your passion and dedication to Spelman and your community.

Okay I am seriously about to have some type of breakdown if this letter doesn't hurry up and come. I know I can't rush God's blessing, but this is past ridiculous. Lol....

I can't agree with you more. I am going crazy. All I want is to attend Spelman....Pray for me...

Lately I've been having "nightmares" about my denial letter from Spelman. -sighs-

I think we'll all get in (at least I hope) i really think we got it just bc we are all worrying about it. I've calmed down a bit and stopped stalking my mailman haha

Well guys, its been a while but I decided to come back just to say: I GOT IN TO SPELMAN COLLEGE!! YAYYYYY!!! But also to say: I will not be attending. No way! And I'm not even mad about it! I will be attending Howard and I couldn't be happier! I'm choosing Howard because I have a scholarship and I would be a FOOL not to except 4 years paid tuition. Plus I love Howard too. But I do wish you girls the best of luck and I hope that you all become part of the 128th class of Spelman College!

Thats great, I wish I would receive a full scholarship, but these little ones will do for now. I think you made a very good decision, because howard is just as great but now it is even better because it is free! How does Howard determine who gets scholarships because I have been hearing a lot of people saying they got one.?
