I see alot of people wanna apply to Howard..... but I've already came down to my top choices... My top 2 of the moment are Morehouse and Del State.... I'm plannin on applyin to Morehouse early action so I know early if I got in. Not sure if Del State got early action. I would really love though to go to college in Atlanta, so that gives Morehouse an advantage. My backups are NC State, Drexel, Johnson & Wales, maybe Miami and High Point As far as my grades are concerned I have a 4.1 weighted GPA and 3.5 unweighted one... I run track, in National Honor Society, was basketball manager in 10th grade, student gov., prom committee. My only concern is my SAT score of a 1450 on the new one.. Morehouse want like a 1500 to qualify for their scholarships I think

If ur weakness is math...then YESS YES YES the ACT is simpler...b/c the math on the ACT is more straightforward and jus involves knowing the right steps...but the SAT's math is MUCH more complex and requires you to do more analyzing... but if ur weakness is time management den the ACT is a lil more difficult b/c u realli gotta keep i movin there isnt realli time to second guess and recheck....but den again there isn't any penalty for guessing on the ACTbut there is apenalty on the SAT..u lose 1/4 pt) so i guess it kinda works out in the end...anyways to make a long story short..im kinda bad in math and I found the ACT to be much more simple and i did bettr...

oh yea..1 more thing..if you go on kaplan.com...you can arrange to take a free ACT or SAT at their offices(its bettr than takin it on ur own b/c they actually time u and its like real testin conditions)... so if you wanna see which you do bettr on w/o havin ur scores on ur record u shuld try that..hope that helped
