Real Talk...listen up ladies! (A black's reason for cheating)

Hello All, I know this may sound a little redundant but, I was having a conversation with a male friend of mine and I wanted to know from a man's perspective "why do men cheat." Whoa, did he give me an earful ladies..lol. Anyway read the conversation below and feel free to share your feelings, opinions, etc. on this subject. Nyla: I need some real talk right now. I'm so tired of men (black especially) saying how they want a good woman who's smart, funny, attractive, self driven, have a career, freaky, and the whole nine and then when they get them you all don't know how to handle them. Some even become intimidated. What is really up with all that. Why do men cheat? why would a man have sugar at home but, go out in the streets and start messing with ish? Explain this for me please. Male: The only simple way I can put it is that it is nature. A man will be a man first, my example I always use is even the Fine Halle Berry, couldnt keep here men from going astray, and she is mostly every mans dream......And for most men it is all about the hunt, and after the actual ****, it is boring, and they are out to hunt once more. It is not rocket science, just know that it is nothing that the women does, it is just what we do, no matter how great the woman is, there is always another woman on the radar.

It's amazing how your perception changes as you get older, I guess that is what people do when they are in Jr. High or High School. Yeah, I remember those days when we used to talk about a chick who couldn't dress. LOL Those were the days! I'm just curious to what he's going to say about you after he breaks up with you. That will be interesting.
After he breaks up with me??? (ignored) First of all, let me get this straight. He doesn't talk bad about her, it's just me and everybody else at school (like I said, no one likes her ....she's a loser and she's fake). When I asked him why he broke up with her, those are the reasons he gave me. Plus the fact that she was boring and just wasn't fun to be around, he didn't like her personality. And still doesn't. When he said she was lazy, average, slow, etc. He didn't mean it in an insulting way. He was being honest. He said that she approached him, so he "gave her a chance" ...and tried to get to know her. Once he got to know her, he didn't like her. But it's the opposite with me, because you see ....he approached ME. So, I gave HIM a chance ...and I like him.lol. And if he just happens to break up with me, or I break up with him. I have nothing to worry about. I go to a Prep school that's 67% Black, ...He's not the only one who's going to an Ivy League University and is going to be successful when he grows up. I have a variety to choose from. He's coming with me to New York Jan. 1st!!!! (Just found out.lol) His name is Lee, by the way.

I didn't think guys actually did that anymore. I knew young guys or high school guys did that, but I didn't think that a grown man would do that. Who has time to play games like that? If you aren't interested don't waste your time or hers trying to get the number. That is stupid. (not referring to you but the act is.)
Great post…I just want it to be known that I am not referring to myself. I would not do it because I would not want my lady getting numbers.

Would it be considered cheating if a couple is on an off and on relationship for two years and she finds out he was doing the nasty with another woman? The couple was off when he creeped to the other womans house. The guy still went to the girlfriends house at times, even when they were off.

If they were not together, I would not consider it cheating. However, if you are considering getting back together, you have to think twice about your actions.

I think that would be an issue if they do get back together.

^^^If he stopped creeping, I think it could work. It's going to take some trust, but its possible.

Even if it was once or twice and he promised not to do it again it would be a trust issue. It would be considered cheating to her.

You probably have an STD (or STI or VD or whatever they call it now), you shouldn't sleep around like that. I would strongly recommend you go get tested. Her too, ...she's more likely to have it than you are. If that girl you've been messing with will sleep with you, simply because you're single. She'll sleep with anybody, ..ask her to go get tested also. Good luck!

What the hell? First of all, it was a scenario, hypothetically speaking. Secondly, the originator of this comment is a WOMAN!
