'Bout that time... - HBCU CONNECT

UPDATE: What's your classification? What school will you be heading to in the fall??? Where is it located???? :arrow: I'm a junior. Going back to the 757, and continuing my education at Norfolk State University (Behold the GREEN and GOLD) . When is the first day of classes for you?? :arrow: Good question. I should find that out. Lol. I think its the 22nd . When are YOU going back (to move in, get settled, etc.)?? :arrow: I'll be returning to Virginia, August 18th. Stayin' on-campus...off...? :arrow: No, not till next year. Though I like living on campus, its very convenient. & if u want...what's your schedule gonna be??? Plan on changin' it??? :arrow: This fall I'll be taking: Statistics, Juvenile Delinquency, Social Methods, and Criminology. (Still deciding whether or not to add an elective to my schedule) Gonna work this year? :arrow: Heck no. Actually I work on campus (work - study), at the library. (thats what I'm well known as "the girl that works at the library) What are some of the 1st things you're gonna do when you get to school???? Who ya gonna see (if anyone)???? Gonna get up w/ anyone from up here????? :arrow: Decorate my room!!! After that I'll hook up with my LS's so we can have that slumber party we've been plannin'. And then I have a couple of dates lined up for those first two weeks of school. Ya ready 2 go back??? as in..ready to get away from home AND are ya even prepared (have ya started packin'/collectin'?)??? :arrow: No I'm actually not ready to go back, my vacation wasn't long enough. I miss being home in California. Heck I finally unpacked my clothes just 6 weeks ago lol.

When is the first day of classes for you?? I dunno... the day after Labor Day When are YOU going back (to move in, get settled, etc.)?? Um...I actually live in Hampton so I go to band camp on the 15th I think... Stayin' on-campus...off...? Im staying off...I kinda wish I was staying on though & if u want...what's your schedule gonna be??? Plan on changin' it??? Im trying to change it... I have 17 hours which isnt that bad but its not good to have all my days stary at 8am during band season... Gonna work this year? I have a job in the Center of Atmosperic Sciences which is funny cuz Im a music major What are some of the 1st things you're gonna do when you get to school???? Who ya gonna see (if anyone)???? I'm so glad somebody is postin this cuz for the last2-3 months, well since i graduated from high school i don't think i've gone a day (let alone an hour) w/o thinkin or sayin "I CAN'T WAIT TIL I LEAVE" I am so ready for school to start its ridiculous (sp?)[/color] I'll be freshman comin from dallas, tx (originally from San Diego, CA, moved to TX in 2001) goin to Dillard University in New Orleans. I leave AUGUST 13TH throwin all my ish in the back of my daddy's truck n him n my mama is droppin my a$$ off!!! I can't wait. I don't even over B>S just cuz I kno i'm leavin and in 15 more days i won't even have to worry about it!!! I'M SO EXCITED & READY...i felt (notice the past tense verb: fe-lt) bad cuz i started packin at the beginning(sp?) of summer...my parents was like u got 3 months... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
