I got my award letter from Tennessee State yesterday and I was so relieved, they're offering me a total of $24,746 for the year, and I was getting kind of worried because my twin got an award letter from Tuskegee and they only gave her 3,000 leaving my parents to come up with the remaining 20,000 I was like :???: I'm also doing workstudy and they gave me $1,715 per semester, has anyone recieved their award letter from Howard? my twin sister is going there and I'm curious

yeah i got mine it was like 21,000 but im not gonna use it becuz they sent that before i turned my scholarship app in

And I thought I was the only one lol...Well I just had a interview for a external scholarship and God blessed me so much on it hopefully favor follows....I got a scholarship from my school tho. I'm not sure how much their givin me yet tho...I have a truckload of other scholarships I'm applyin to so hopefully I can pay off the abundance of loans I have on my federal aid.
Well, I got like 60,000 from Lincoln but it is under UConn...I got $105,000 from UPenn over four years....but U Penn is $45,000 a year. I got 80,000 from Univ. of North Carolina....20,000 from duke.....75,000 from Brown.....but I chose Lincoln ....why? Because Thurgood Marshall went there and because it was the only place that offered a full ride for me. My parents said "An education is an education" Now, I am looking for at least full tuition with a 3.1 as a transfer student. I feel so bad....but like I said..I have to be faithful and grateful. Faithful knowing that when God shuts one door, he always has something bigger and better for me. Grateful knowing that people would die to be in the position that I am in now. Kids starving, dying everyday.....they would love to have at least even a High school education. Who knows? Just pray for me
