DELTA's VS. AKA's

I love the AKA's they are the **** to me. Me personaly as a guy i like giirly gilrs ( i am sure their are girly girls who are Delta's) But it seems like a real sorrority to me pink and green, pearls and ivy. Most of the women sho i know and grew up around were AKA's so i guess that is why i am like that. But the Delta's hold it down....every now and then.............i guess.........

I would like to say that both organizations hod their own otherwise they wouldn't still be here. As for asking which one is better no one can answer that because it is an opinion which changes for every person. I know AKA's that run my school, and I know Deltas that hold down the yard and their are Zetas that are the coolest chicks and the Rho's who don't study all the time but when it comes down to it they have their sisters back and thats their purpose. :o A sorority is a sisterhood of college when that enables women (of color) with common interests and goals to live and work together and enjoy very close friendship. :lol: so its up to you to find out which one is best for you :!: :mrgreen:

May I say that the purpose of these distinguished sororities was originally and forevermore to be a close knit support group for other black students (and other culutres too...) to confide in. May I also suggest that y'all all take it upon yourselves and read the history if not for your own knowledge, but so that you don't say anything stupid. You shouldn't be asking which is the better sorority. The question should be, which sorority on my campus (note: it REALLY depends on the campus .... although it shouldn't) does more for the community. In my limited knowledge, Sorors and Bruhs don't just cross and then not do anything. If they do, then that is a shame. As for the lovely ladies on the campus of HOWARD UNIVERSTY, the sorority ladies are a force to be reckoned with in our community and in the general body of HU. Another note: the reason that there hasn't been a big presence of AKAs on many campuses is due to a moratorium... look it up.... KNOW YOUR HISTORY.. RESEARCH B4 YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND SPEW DUMBSHYT..

I feel people take this whole delta vs. aka thing to serious at first i was like that cuz my whole family is aka's but they are all cool with delta's. and the bad part when u look at both sororities on a whole whatever one do the other do. if the delta's give wood at a chapter, the aka's goin give wood. if the aka's take 100 the delta's goin take 100 they are so closely nit it is a cryin shame. so actually i think the whole beef thing should be crossed cuz it is blown out of proportion. holla
