Hey,
Just wanted to say congratulations to all of ya'll that are becoming part of the AUC this fall. Ya'll are about to have the time of your life. I went to Morehouse and graduated last Sunday, May 16, 2004

If ya'll have any questions what so ever about the AUC holla at me, I've been there a while and seen a lot. Of course I know the most about Morehouse, but I also know some stuff about CAU and Spelman as well.
But anyway, one of my best experiences of being in the AUC was being a part of the AUC Gospel Choir also known as the New Life Inspirational Gospel Choir. I would definitely recommend ya'll becoming a part. You get to sing for God and also meet and network with students from Morehouse, Spelman, CAU, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Emory, Atlanta Metropolitan, Georgia Perimeter, and other ATL colleges. You also get to travel all over the country. Since I've been with the choir we've been to California, Conneticut, DC, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. Check out the website at: www.nligc.org I've been involved with the choir 5 years and am staying involved with it even after graduating. Currently I am the Alumni Coordinator and Webmaster for the choir, so I can pretty much tell you anything you want to know about that as well.
If you know for sure, you want to join, please register at www.nligc.org/join.html
Even if you don't want to join New Life, definitely be sure to get involved with some kind of student organization your freshman year. It'll make your AUC experience that much more fun...
