Okay lovely people of HBCU's here are my imputs on D.C, Howard and everything in between(if u care to know): D.C- * I'll have to un-learn how to properly drive because it seems no one knows how to drive *pedestrians dont stop at red lights i guess and walk slowly across on green *too too too much traffic everywhere *bold **** bums from D.C *houses that are conjoined and painted in extreme colors (whats that about?) *it'll take some adjusting Howard- *a tad bit unorganized especially when it came to financial aid time *beautiful people. honestly almost all the girls looked like models and a lot of attractive men also *loved the stores by howard. one i especially would love to shop at is up against the wall *a lil bit ghetto *i didnt talk to anybody which sucked. Overall- Im lookin forward to the experience, if anybody who reads this goes to Howard or will be going please respond with ur own views on the subject

They extended the fee for going to pre-orientation to May 8th. As far as I know the deadline for the enrollment and housing fees is still May 1st.

I have paid all my fees and everything too and I havent gotten anything about the pre-orientation either. But does anybody know anything about the math placement exam and the AP test. Do I have to take it if I am taken AP exams?Or IB exams? If anyone knows anything let me know thanks. Holla @ me

All I can say about the pre-orientation part of your question is to call the office of enrollment and ask them to transfer you to the appropriate department (I think it's the center for academic reinforcement) to get the preorientation registration form e-mailed to you. About the math placement exam...on the website it says that if you took an AP Cal Test and got a certain grade (don't remember) you are exmpted from taking the placement exam...if my memory serves me correctly. But if anything go on their website and it explains it.

If I remember correctly you have to use your student ID @.... as your ID and then use your birthdate (mo/da/ye). they recommend that you change your password after the first time you enter. Hope it helps. Now I have a question has anyone gotten anything about housing, regular orientation, etc?
