Terrell Owens apparently will be at Eagles camp after all.
A day after hinting that he would agree to a trade because of a contract dispute, Owens told the Philadelphia Inquirer he would report to training camp on Aug. 1 at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.

The controversial wide receiver told the newspaper he remains unhappy with his seven-year, $49 million contract and that he wouldn't mind being traded.
"I'll be there," Owens told the Inquirer on Friday. "I mean, the bottom line is that I still believe I deserve a new contract. I still believe I deserve more than what they've given me. But I'm not stupid. I'm not about to miss training camp, get fined every day and give them even more reasons to keep from paying me.
"I'll be there but I won't be happy, I can tell you that much. Take from that whatever you want," he said.

What ya'll think about T.O. and his contract holdout. Do ya'll think he deserve a new contract, or should he just shut up and be happy? Personally I think that all football players, rather all sports athletes, should be content with the money they make. These dudes make millions and millions a year and what do they do? Complain. Please.
Seriously though, I think its really too early in the contract to demand a new one. I mean sure he had a nice season last year, but that was just one year. If he didn't like the contract he shoulda never signed the b!tch in the first place. Of course, he could always come to my Falcons if he want....

Verbally blast me over what I'm about to say if you want, but Chad Hutchinson showed some flashes last year. In the 5 games he played he did have three interceptions, but in the one against the vikes, he smashed them with a qb rating over 100. The other games weren't as pretty, but he did do decent considering the amount of pressure he was under. He actually got sacked 9 times one game because of the horrible line play. I say if he can hold up and do a decent job behind a no name garbage line, anthony thomas, and david terrell as their starting wideout, then he can do pretty good behind a solid line and a starting running back (two when cedric benson gets on board) along with a legitmate core of recievers. Mark my words- Chad WILL hold it down. And rex, it's over for you man. He has around 3-4 months until returning, and who knows if he'll even be 100% then. He's not getting that no. 1 job ever again because his backup has way more experience than him plus kyle orton is looking more promising than him. The only thing the bears lose in this position is an experienced backup QB, because Rex ain't proved nothin yet. They might not win the superbowl lol....but seriously, their makin the wildcard this year. If that defense stays healthy their goin to dismantle detroit and green bay along w/ some other wack teams.
