In my post I said, "like you stated." I was referring to Lyle, Coleman and Indiana Love. Some of those other references you made, I've never even heard of.

BTW, that Fire & Ice gets deeper than a lot of people know. I didn't even know.

in response to the influx of ****: Fire and Ice/"Clash of the pyramids"= Delta and A Phi A P&G/ "20 Pearls"= AKA and Omega Kanine love = Omega and SGRho Gold love= A Phi A and SGRho the rest are self-explanatory. And to clarify, sure I've called a select few Alphas "frat" I am more apt to respect a bond that has more to do with history (06-08, Blue and White, etc) than one that has to do with mere coincedence, but that's just me.

Uh, not to be funny or disrespect those who actually acknowledge this fire and ice "bond" but that article did nothing but list Alpha/Delta marriages and hook ups over the years. THIS is where my confusion and frustration comes in with these so-called bonds. Can the number of Alpha/Delta marriages, hook-ups be compared to Coleman love??? I'm a history buff, I know about Frank and Edna and the significance of the 3 Musketeers and the founding of Delta. Can this bond be compared with fire and ice? I'm inclined to think it can't, but I'll let you answer that. Going back to what Soror PG was saying about groups wanting to be aligned with one another, that's all fine and dandy especially if there's historical significance behind the alignment. When I hear a Skee-Phi or an "06-08!", I think of the fact that Alpha Phi Alpha and Alpha Kappa Alpha were the first for people of color, the FIRST. This means more to me than how many of my Sorors have married Alpha men and formed "Lyle Love" bonds. I'm not saying bonds can't exist between individual members of orgs that have married; if an Alpha and a Delta marry or hook-up, the fire and ice bond is between them, not the organizations as a whole. Or at least it shouldn't be.

Do not confuse me now. I didn't even use the word bond in my post. The point of the article was just point out somethings I didn't know, which is why I said, "I didn't even know." The name of the article actually included "connection" I believe. I'm not saying because I marry a man affiliated with ABC Fraternity, Inc., all women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are bonded with that org. Sistergreek, you could have PM'd me that though, but let's keep the party rolling
