It was a sad, dreary rainy day in CT. I decided to take the late bus home due to my planning of a VOTE assembly. As I sit on the bus, people around me are commenting on the pouring rain and how they could not wait to get home. As I stepped of the bus, My sister began to run into the house but I was destined to check the mail box. Hair soaked, Cold and irratated, I opened the lid to the mailbox. I stared in disbelief and started to cry. Fortunately, those were happy tears for it was a big envelope. My next step was actually opening it. I didnt want to open it in the pouring rain so I ran to the house dropping a variety of items out of my bag. I got into the door and I ripped open the package. Courtney Stewart you have been acccepted to Spelman College. Yay I'm going to Spelman.

After all the wait, stress and anxiety. I finally can be called a true Spelmanite.
Spelman's tuition went and fees went up and it is about 36,000 a year now. They told me in my financial aid package. i wont know of any scholarships from my school until the end of the year so i cant make my spelman decision based on those. scholarship from spelman start going out this month so i'm hoping. anyone here get into the honors program or WiSTEM??..oh and CONGRAT 2 ALL!!
