Damn, I haven't started a new thread on here in a while...but this one is strictly for the oldheads that are left... You know you're an oldhead on HBCUConnect.com if... You remember when it was HBCUCentral... Keep it going...

Oh I remember what I was gonna say now.... When before it was it's on li'l section, We'd post all pics in a "Picture Thread" and everyone would have at them. And also if you've met with or began relationships (Lifelong or otherwise) with more than a few people because of this site. Basically if alot of your friends came from this site is what I'm sayin... and I know it's been said already but so what!

yeah definitely have an HBCUConnect section on my list lol. I haven't talked to half the people in it in a cool minute. What happened to Y'all... hmmm... idea... :smt115 I'm mad I remember most of this stuff posted lol.

You know you are old school if:
  • You were on hbcu-central.com BEFORE there was a "cafe"
  • There were no ads on the website
  • Hbcu-central.com was a hobby done at night by a 1 man show (something like the wizard of OZ)
  • The only other social networking site for blacks was blackplanet.com and the founders of myspace and facebook probably never thought they'd have blacks flocking to their sites making them rich (ok c€all me a hater )
  • You're really old school if you remember the cafe before Chris got admin privledges and if you knew he got admin privledges simply by asking me for it hahahaha!
  • And finally... You know you're old school if you remember NeoSoulBrotha won the first ever hbcu scholarship from hbcu-central.com cause he was helping folks on the boards like he worked here!
And if you don't think the cafe is making a comback meet one of my favorite new smilies:
