a response to what? everything's already been said... but i guess i could start talking about immigration and the state of the union currently, plus you have to realize that today is a lot different than it was back then, by saying that i mean that people are stupid, and as the years progress, they get dumber and dumber, i also hope you realize that america will not last forever, every great empire in the past has fallen and america is no different, the question isnt if, but when. i dun know how many times ive said this, but a lot of americans are stupid, like... really really really stupid, and ignorant... but as long as our votes actually count, then anything is possible, we never know, maybe after we vote all the votes are thrown out and someone else is elected, that's a possibility, i dont think you can say that a black man can never be president, but i'm pretty sure that you can say a "n****r" can never be president, the question is, does a black man WANT to be president of the united states of america, its all a mindset, gorwing up black u want to be a basketball player or a football player, a rapper, something glamorous, not the president, plus you cant be the president if you are selfish and self-centered and all about personal gain, because you wouldnt care about the people. i never would have imagined that the #1 golf player would be a black man, or the #1 tennis players would be a black woman, or that the best lacrosse player to live according to most people is a black man, things like that, those show you really that anything is possible, and after you read this post you are going to say blah blah blah, the power is in the white people at the top, but as long as we havent been lied to about the voting process, that is not true, the power is actually in the people at the bottom, the ones voting... I think that if anyone sees themselves as a black man then there is no way they will ever become president of the united states of america, why? because they will be representing the blacks, but america is much more than that, however, if you see yourself as a MAN, then you can represent an entire nation, different skin colors are not different species, but you must see that you are classified by this system for a reason, so you dont realize that we are all human... i still dont even know what a "black person" is or an "african" person... people talk all the time about "im going to go to africa".... what? you cant buy a plan ticket to "africa" not all africans have black skin.... and tell me what a black person is anyway... is being black a mindset or a skin color? if its a mindset, then there are people with dark skin who arent black, and there are white people who are black, and if its a skin color, then where is the boundary set at who is "black" and who isnt, what is an albino, hell what is michael jackson? before you were put on the boats and taken to america, you werent "black" the term is used to classify you, and once you are classified, and you believe the classification, then its over, mission completed
the question left to answer is does oprah consider herself a black woman, or does she consider herself a human being
