thats what i said...go get a job and do whatever the heck you want...you want a career, do it.and i feel u on sharing the responsibility of ther kids.but the truth is, a womans role in the early development of a child is much more improtant than a man.not saying a man shouldnt be part of the early years but a woman is more important.now as far as decision making and all of that, decisions should be made together.but it goes both ways.for some odd reason, when men go out and buy something without consulting the wife, the wife gets all mad, but when yall wanna go out and have a big **** shoppping spree, there isnt a problem...wtf?!

*lied about stop watching topic* yeah...what's that kick with woman and shopping...my sister was telling me that some women shop when they are depressed...like when you hear about women eating when depressed... man i dunno it's all crappy excuses... 8-)

I don't think it's more important...I refuse to be like most moms. Call me selfish..I dont care but i'm not gonna be the one to always feed the baby, bath them , change their diapers ect. I'm not gonna do it by myself. that's the only thing i'm saying. While he sittin on the couch drinking a beer and watching football. It aint happenin'. I would think that a man wouldn't want his wife doing all of that. Maybe, i grew up in a fantasy type world. Who knows??? But if i'm not valued, then he's gonna catch hell. As far as shopping goes...If it's not your money then don't worry about it. I can give you advice on how to spend your dough but i can't tell you what to do with it unless its -- a.mine or b. from our joint account. This is why both should also have separate accounts.

I personally would want to stay home with my child for a year or so if I had one. After about 2 1/2 I would want to put my child in day care so they could be around kids their age and so I could work. I'm still not sure if I want to have kids, or even get married...but thats just my stance...
