If you two aren't doing anything wrong, than you are not wrong. BUT I do understand why she would be skeptical about the whole situation. I mean you two were romantically involved. She is a little silly for staying with the guy, but it is her man. If I were you I would just leave him alone.

People who can cheat on a spouse repeatedly or just do them dirty particularly one that they have been with for a long time are not good friend material (male or female) and I'm sure you know this (its common sense). They may seem like that but sooner or later you'll realize that if you get too close they will do you just as grimey if not more than the person they are in a relationship with. You already got screwed by him once, Why set youself up for a second time. Sure you could say that you aren't gonna get that close to dude or whatever so he'd be able to do so, but if thats the case why have him around in your life. As for ole girl... the calling thing is her issue. If she can't trust her man enough to have female friends she needs to move on regardless of how long she's been with him because she'll miss out on something better staying with that sucka.
