when its time to shop for college will you guys shop in the area your college is in or will you bring stuff with you?

I really don't wanna have to bring a lot of stuff.
I may wait and shop when I get there.
i would wait and talk with my roommates about what we need in our dorm but some stuff like shower caddies, closet organizer etc. i would get while i'm still at home...but i agree with kennini i wouldn't want to bring a whole heap of stuff
my schedule so far will be: Concert Orchestra, Honors Chamber Orchestra, English 12, Trigonometry, AP Government, AP Spanish, AP biology
I'm just curious but what's the reasoning behind not buying items before you get to school?
