Well my grandmothers african friend named me. She was gon name me heidi after her because her name is hyce. But I was names Mieasha(me ah sha) meaning life in swahili and Malaika,(ma like a) meaning angel in swahili.

I know its not my name, but my little cousin Abrasia got her name when her mom was watching the news. They were talking about cuts and abrasions and her mom thought that would be "cute". lol

for some odd reason my mom let a 6 yr old boy name me (my brother)...his best friends were named Kristy and Tiffany...he decided to flip a coin...heads Tiffany, tails Kristy...it landed on tails and he changed the spelling so my name is Cristy... the middle name...my grandma and my aunt wanted me to be named after both of them so my mom combined their names, Deborah and Rena, and came up with Debrena...
