That sounds alot like what going on around here.
I thought we were the only school facing those problems.
That is true man. Macon State, a PWI, down here is trying to take all of our sh*t. And what makes it so bad is the state board of regents seems to be behind them to do it
You have any details?
Yeah, our education program, but I will clear that up next time I am on, too tired to type all of that up
Well, there is a board of regents rule that no two schools within 25 miles of each other can have the same program. So, we have our education program and they can't have one because they are within 25 miles. Just prior to our education program being put on probation Macon State posted on their website that they have an education program. And, on the board of regents official website, they list Macon State as having an education program. Then, we end up loosing ours right after even though we cleaned up everything they asked of us as far as our education program. Now how is it possible that the Board of Regents and Macon State boast Macon St. has an education program when it is no way possible they should have one in the first place?? Seems a little funny to me. But when the board of regents has their mind made up on doing something, they will.
They obviously don't want the 3 HBCU under the GA University System (Fort Valley State, Albany State, and Savannah State) to thrive. Just recently it was discovered that over the past few years FVSU has recieved ONLY 25 percent of the money we are suppose to get from the board of regents. And the 3 HBCU's, I believe, get the least amount of money from the board of regents.
