Question!!!

I've been viewing this part of the hbcuconnect message board and I've seen alot of people come on and ask questions and alot of people get attitudes when someone just wants to know an answer. I can understand if someone is tryin to diss your organization or ask personal things about your pledging process, but alot of times if someone asks something simple, some of yall will get rude and try to go off. Is it really that deep to try to go off on someone over the internet that you dont even know? Do you think thats going to make you appear any smarter or prove your point any more? If you see a post that you don't wanna answer, can't you just skip it? I mean, maybe they really did want the question asked, maybe they really didnt know the answer. I'm pretty sure you didnt know everything about every greek organization. Yahoo! GOOGLES, ASKJEEVES, and MSN might not answer all the questions someone is wanting to know. Maybe they want to ask a member of that organization personally. If you view the index part of the board it says right under the greek forum "Kappas Step...... Sigmas Step.......... Aight........... Whats Really Good.... Ask question about ya Favorite Greek Fam or Rep ya Letters!!" So if they are doing what the description says, why get upset alot of the times when stuff shouldnt be a biggie?

It might have been a minute ago. If not on here it probably was some sort of Phi Mu Alpha forum. I just know this subject matter of Secret Society vs. Society w. Secrets has come up before and at the end everybody pretty much agreed it was the latter pretty much citing the same examples and reasons.

but that wasnt the purpose of this thread... i was actually asking why do some of the greeks be so rude when people ask them simple questions. Example: this thread now notice how about 2 or 3 greeks answered the question. the ones who probably couldnt tried to get all off subject and get upset with the post. Its just a question. SO NOT SMART IF THAT PISSES YOU OFF!! they only proved my point. If you dont like a post, why do you even reply u kno? you make yourself look like such an **** tryin to e argue with a 17 year old u dont even know

Sweetie, You need to get your ish together. You keep talkin about people "arguing with a 17 year old" but then again u may be an immature 17 year old because clearly age isnt the factor here. Secondly no 1 is on here arguing with you but YOU! third your thread is pointless. You keep askin why I keep typing back in this forum...BECAUSE I CAN! lmaooo do I really care about your POINTLESS thread...No! Im just getin my post count up. Ohh and as for my LS PGP you clearly dont know that she literally is a genius...she is the top 10 percentile in NY State IQ wise. Ok I am not greek but I am going to say this...sometimes you can learn so much more from reading and not saying anything. I have learned SO MUCH on this board from just sitting back and reading what greeks have to say. When people set people straight or "go off" On them I sit back and take notes because it's teaching me what not to do and alot of times when people ask stuff sometimes I want to know to but I search for it and it is not that hard to find at all. When people like AKAtude snap on people it honestly help me out because it show me what not to say so I won't get in front of greeks from my school and make a fool of myself. This site have taught me stuff I have never even thought would matter but I am so glad I know now. No I am not trying to suck up because I have no reason to I am just saying we do not know why they say the things they do to us prospects but I am sure they have a reason and they are trying to keep us from looking like **** in the future...maybe we do not understand now but if we ever have the Privilege to go greek maybe we will understand. So If I ever say anything out of order please correct me!!! If I'm even out of order for saything this please let me know!!!

ok.....i hope you want to be an aka at the school where akatude goes because otherwise such **** kissing doesnt make since (if it ever makes since)......you are not makeing a fool of yourself for not knowing, their making afool of theirselves by using your ignorance as a means too put themselves on a higher pedestal....you can tell people stuff without snapping or making them feel silly.... and you are **** up...not trying to get at you, but dont let your "greek desires" cause you to sacrifice your integrity and self asteem..........and dont respect people that go off on you, seventeen or not :x

Despite some of the brown-nosing (sorry babygirl, dont mean to get on ya like that), she did have a lot of common sense in what she said. If you pay attention, you don't ask something stupid. If you don't believe me, ask me how many times I've seen or been asked the question, " Can you tell me about the Process?" I don't feel sorry for those who get snapped on for asking stupid questions like that. Ask INTELLIGENT questions! I get **** off everytime I post something like this. If some of you notice, we post advice and pointers alllllllllllllll the time,.....like my post thus far. WE ARE TELLING YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO SO YOU DON'T GET A TONGUE LASHING!!!!!!!! IF YOU GET CUSSED OUT,....YOUR FAULT. NO GREEK WITH CLASS AND TACT HAS OR IS EVER GONNA SNAP ON YOU FOR NO REASON. BELIEVE ME, THERE IS A REASON WHEN IT HAPPENS! HOWEVER, THEY WON'T MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU IF YOU ARE HOPING TO BECOME A MEMBER OF ONE THEIR ORGANIZATIONS. YOU HAVE TO EARN IT. SO IF YOU COME UP TO ME ASKING ABOUT MY FOUNDERS OR SOMETHING ELSE REAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY SIMPLE, I AM GONNA GIVE YOU THE BOO-BOO FACE BEFORE I DO ANYTHING ELSE.
