What, if any information does anyone have about the Masons. I have done my research and everything seems cool, but I just need that reassurance from a group of people. So if you know anything please let me know. :?:

i'm gonna assume that this is an old post. but you do have to have Masonic or Eastern Star in your bloodline. the only way you can get in and you don't have bloodline is if the GWM's are being nice and allow people with no bloodline to come on in! lol

There are MANY Stars and Masons in the Tallahasse area of all masonic rites who dont have a Mason or OES lineage in their family. Ive found alot of chapters and lodges dont apply that anymore, altho I know there are some out there that still do. But speaking for myself, I would know seeing as how I came thru with no lineage...but it wasnt until alil while after i was initiated that I found out I did have lineage because my grandfather and great grandfather are Masons.

yea it was back in April....like the 3rd week. It was held in Jacksonville which is where I believe they have it every year. I didnt get to attend for we had just been initiated a few weeks prior to that and it was too much last minute planning, but I most definitely plan to go April 2006. All the Stars and Masons who who went said they all really enjoyed themselves. What about you all?

Their are 2 of my siSTARS that came through our chapter when he had "Open Blood Line" meaning this would be for the people whom dont have Mason's in their family. So u DONT have to have Mason's in your family to be apart of OUR PHAmily just have to do your research.

We just had ours this past weekend(July 30th - Aug 3rd). It was fun. This was my first time attending so I met lots of people and it was really informative. I got to meet some of the National Officers in the different degrees also. That was truly an honor. I met a STAR who was initiated in 1946. I also got an invite to attend a Conclave in South Carolina at the end of this month. The vendors there had some of the tightest nalia. Where was your National session held this year? Ours was in Ohio back in June. I didn't get to attend though...

Thats great. Wow a Star initiated in 1946 and STILL active. If thats not love and dedication I dont know what is...lol. And EVERYBODY be saying how all the nailia be on point...And they have lots of books to also purchase too which I know I would definitely be interested in having more of. Im not sure about our national session. I have to find out about that when I get back...But this is getting me excited to go next year. Hey DST, where do u go to school?
