I have to give Vick a big hand clap for looking like a monster passed the past two games. Hopefully he doesn't completely abandon his feet like Mcnabb started doing. It's good to be able to **** teams from the pocket, but when your within the 20 yard line there's truly no problem thinking run first. Their defense has fallen since losing Ed Hartwell. With him Keith Brooking was that much better and Demario Williams had so much more freedom to utilize that speed.
It would be pretty hot if the Eagles could trade Brian Westbrook and their first rounder so they can move down to get Reggie Bush.
I still despise the Colts as I always have. Yea, I feel the same way about the Seahawks too. They wouldn't be nothing without Shaun Alexander.
The falls that has suprised me:
The redskins...and to think, I respected them.
Atl...I've always been a firm believer in defense wins games, but the Falcons has the talent to force other teams into shoot-outs and win. I mean, that's at the least.
Falls that I expected:
Like I said before. KC is trash. Their offense is becoming human, and the Defense still isn't talented enough. Good news is that Larry Johnson is looking like bright spot in Kansas City's offensive future.
Unexpected improvements:
The Vikings have been handling the business as of late. Bad news is that they can only last for so long with Brad Johnson at QB and a unachieving defense.

I always new the Redskins were trash, even when they started 3-0 and everyone was sold on them. Their defense is good (gave up 38 against TB last week though), but they are not going anywhere with Mark Brunell as their QB. He can be good at times and play smart but he's not consistent enough.
The Eagles I think have officially entered into "wait till next year" mode. They've lost TO and now McNabb and Lito Sheppard are on IR. With no running game to speak of and Mike McMahon as their starting QB now, they'll be lucky to finish .500
It appears that the NFC East is gonna be a fight between Dallas and NYG. Even though Dallas has already beaten the Giants and are in first place, I look for the Giants to win the division. They have a great balanced offense with Eli Manning on the rise, and their defense is pretty stout too.
As for Reggie Bush, it looks like he'll be going to either the Texans or the 49ers. The Texans already have Domanick Davis who is pretty decent so they may pass on him. Kevin Barlow, on the other hand, has been a huge disappointment and should probably be demoted to 2nd string. The 49ers drafting Bush would be good because he's a local and having a good RB would really take alot of pressure off of Alex Smith. I wouldn't rule out the Baltimore Ravens either though. Jamal Lewis is having an awful year and will be a free agent at the end of the season. Having an all purpose back like Bush who is effective in the running and passing game would really help their offense overall.
As for teams that are bad that I expected to be bad, the only thing that the Raiders have surprised me about is how they beat the Redskins on the road by playing good defense. I knew Moss wouldn't catapult them into the playoffs like alot of other people did. They don't get him the ball like they should. It seems like they only wanna throw it to him when he's deep and covered by 2 people. When I look at the Raiders I get the feeling that they are not a team, but just a bunch of individuals playing for personal glory.

All i gotta say is that I'm glad we won the game. It was nice to see Vick return to his normal self where he can beat you with both his arm and his feet instead of limiting himself to staying in the pocket. He completed just over 50% of his passes and threw for less than 200 yards, and I'm not complaining one bit. He had a very efficient game. Now you all see what happens when Vick is using his feet, he spreads the defense out and forces them to change things. Usually a defender will come up and try to stop him, in which case he can dump the ball off to the open receiver for an easy completion. Also, he showed nice touch by not slinging bullet passes the whole time. Major credit goes to our O-line for opening up some huge running lanes for Dunn and Duckett to run through.
I don't really see why they decided to put Garcia in at the time they did. Harrington was doing a pretty decent job, its just his receivers were dropping EVERYTHING. They looked like our receivers from 2003 and 2004. From the 2nd quarter on our defense played like the disruptive force that they were last year, bringing the pressure and constantly getting in the backfield forcing the QB into uncomfortable situations. Hopefully Brady Smith will be back soon so our D-line will have more depth and we won't have to play a rookie out of position anymore. We owed the Lions this one considering how they came into our dome last year and handed us our first loss of the year.
