First there was gospel. They started singing that, we moved on to blues. They started doing that, we moved on to jazz. They started doing that, we moved on to Rock N Roll. They started doing that, we moved on to R&B. They started doing that, we moved on to rap.
It's time for us to make a new music. It's probably already bubbling. The funny thing is that most of us will miss it because we taught what it is to be black by popular media.
