Intro-duc-tion

Bless, Hello everyone! My name is Ivy and I am new to the cite. I want to introduce myself. I am currently attending Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, IL. This is a junior community college, so if you don't know ....now you know! I am attending Prairie State Community College to pursue my Assocaiates Degree in Mass Communcations. Also, I am activitly in involved in my college and participate in clubs such as : Black Student Union( Secretary), member of Phi Theta Kappa, and a staff writer of the college newspaper The Student Review. As you can see, I am a well rounded indiviual. This is what keeps me busy. School. My passion for writing has led me to seek further knowledge in the field of communcations. So I will be taking all the steps that are needed to get there. In Fall 2008 I will transfering to Columbia College, Chicago, IL, to finish up my studies and begin my career. Hey I have a friend who goes there. I live in Maryland and go to a predominantly white college in Frederick called Hood College. I am going there for Early Childhood Education. For the upcoming semester I plan to be more involved in BSU, International Club, and Hood ASA (African Students Association).

What is International Club?

The international club is a club where everyone no matter what their race can join. It serves as a bridge between all of the clubs like BSU (Black Student Union), ASA (African Student Association), LUL (La Union Latina), etc.
