Hello,
There is a great film made by an HBCU grad called "Train Ride" that stars Wood Harris from "The Wire," M.C. Lyte, Joe Clair, Guru, and the late, Emmy-award winning actress Esther Rolle in her last performance. It was shot at Cheyney University, released by Sony Pictures, and has been a top selling African-American film on amazon for over 2 and a half years. It was called one of the best American films of 2005 by noted film critic Gerald Peary.
The filmmaker's website is: Rel Dowdell's Official TRAIN RIDE Homepage. He is a graduate of Fisk University.
You can get it from this link below. It's a must-see.
