The BET Awards come on tonight at 8pm EST. Will you be watching?
I haven't fully decided if I'll be watching or not but since there are nothing but reruns during the summer, I'll probably be tuning in.
On a 4 star scale, I'll give the show 2 3/4 stars.
It wasn't that bad but it wasn't as great as they hyped it up to be. I lost interest in it after a while.
I will say that T.I., The Gerald Levert Tribute(Eddie, Gladys, Yolanda & Patti), Ciara and Diddy ft Keisha Cole(minus Lil' Kim) had pretty good performances. 50 Cent & Public Enemy could have stayed home. When they said PE will do a tribute to James Brown, I was looking to hear some James Brown songs, not old PE songs with some JB lines mixed in.
BUT the showstopper of the night was Beyonce's performance, everything was on point...except for the lip synching. The outfits were pretty nice also. I need to see the last 10 seconds of that performance again!
Honorable Mention: Toccara's almost wardrobe malfunction! Nipplegate II!
Does anybody know what the "25?" on the back of Ciara's robe meant?
I liked the awards overall. The highlight of the event for me was the Gerald Levert Tribute. That was the most beautiful and emotional performance of the show. I just have a one real question What was Lil Wayne's daughter wearing? That little girl is only 10yrs old with pink/red weave in her hair. And her outfit?!?!?!? How about letting a little girl be a little girl!
was lil waynes daughter the bigger one or the skinny one with long hair....neways jennifer holiday was KILLING ME WITH HER FACE AT THE END OF THE SONGGGGGGGGGGGG **** ROTF i was dyin like wat is she on but the song was ****......but ummmm i wasnt a big fan of monique jumping up and down at the end of her lil dance thing nor her weave for that matter but i liked her big gurl dancers..........BEyONCES performace was fiyah i loved it and i liked the ending of ciaras performance she got skinnier.........and i hated the james brown tribute with public enemy i changed the channel at that point i need to watch it again cuz i aint see everything
Lil Wayne's daughter was the thicker one with the pink/red weave and that bid pink skirt on. Yeah Jennifer Holiday had me rolling with those faces. Looked like she was doing face exercises. ****.
A tribute to Mike, they had one NEYO. WTF?!?!? If he isn't a M.J. rip off artist I don't know who is. All he needed was the a tight weave and the glove and he would've had. But if they actually have a tribute for him next year that is going to be the biggest mess. lol.
the funniest **** was when 50 got caught lip syncing he really tried to fool evryone and looked like a ****. i dont like 50 but dude is makin hella cashflow
