Someone tell me why Aye Bay Bay is hot. Even if it is geared toward the club scene. Walk it out? I'm cool with it. Aunt Jackie? Yeah I can go with that. But Aye Bay Bay? I dont even see people dancing to it but yet its one of that hottest songs in the country. If it's this easy to get hot, hell, Imma get into break into it. Aight now, watch this vid.

It's hot b/c it's yet another catchy chant song. That's all to it, nothing more, nothing less. It'll be played out in a minute....then there will be another.
Also to direct my response to the title of this thread, I don't think the industry is getting bored/boring. It all depends upon the market and what your individual tastes are. If you're looking for substance, you shouldn't concern yourself with trying to find a rap song...for the most part. And since this is an "industry" it's about making money and if the market calls for catchy songs or **** songs or dance songs, what do you think will get played? It's all about that "Dolla Dolla Bill ya'll!"
