Big Birds & The **** Bees

Fellas...What do you think the right age is to discuss the birds and the bees with your son(s)? Would you discuss it with your daughter or do you defer to the mother? What if they come to you, son or daughter, before you intended?! Would you prefer them to learn about it in schools or would you prefer to tell them yourself? ...as always, ladies feel free to respond from a woman's perspective.

For the son, I'd say 8-10. Thats that age when they start getting curious. So I'd sit him down and set him straight. I wouldn't lay it all on him at one time, but gradually. He'd be set by age 12. As for the daughter, I think I would leave that to her mother. The Father-daughter talk would probably be full of all kinds of awkward moments. I don't even want to imagine it.
