As you may or may not have known, HBCUConnect has held 2 alumni cruises thus far and want to be able to provide cruising opportunities for the alumni (*younger and older alums*). If you have any suggestions about what activities we should do on the cruise, when should we usually go on the cruise, cruise line, etc ..., then post them here.

I say stay out of cruising during **** Season! Some type of Olympics would be cool, something competitive to get everybody interacting. Please don't go by schools cuz D Meezy and I can't be the only 2 reppin Claflin....ALTHOUGH we would win the competition!! What went on during the last 2 cruises?

last 2 cruises were pretty fun. The first cruise had the better ship but the second cruise had the better beach games... Was pretty fun both times. I'm a bit sad we are not going this year Depending on the time of year when we go it can be dramatically more expensive... Also the cruise is a super low profit event unless you can sell out a ship... That being said, I still would like to see us figure out a way to make it work and do one in 2008...

I don't know what kind of deals you guys can get as a business bringing in a lot of folk but I took my chances and went during **** Season twice and prayerfully haven't been affected by any while on the water. ~knocks on wood~ I saw that going then, you get better rates. My grad chapter back in Philly had a cruise during HS and they got stuck out in the Caribbean somewhere for a couple days. :o They had to reschedule flights and everything.

I would love to do a cruise for social work or psy majors.I am a student but I am also a travel agent so check out my site and I could check on some rates if you have a date. http://www.rachel.traverustravelnetwork.com
