i depends on what school you go to ( i know at emory you can pledge 2nd semester freshman year) however at most hbcus you have to have about 30 credits which at that time you would be a sophomore

I mean it's cool that folk ask questions, it's even cool if they wanna ask me directly. I just can't believe folk still askin the same questions that have been asked and answered a million times! Reading is FUNdamental!

Shoot.... Some people don't have time or interest to go searching through that jungle of greek threads to answer on question.... I say...Ask on. But there is no winning with some people... If you don't know, then you ask...but people get mad at you for asking and say BE DISCRETE!!! If you don't know, and you don't ask...then you don't know..and then you could later eff things up... It's pretty lose-lose.

If a person doesn't have time or interest to research before asking a question, then how can a sorority expect then to make a serious committment to their organization?

Because it's more efficient to ask a question off the back and get a direct answer then searching through watered down internet forums. But yes I understand how some can misinterpret efficiency for a dis-interest in a organization. But when it comes time to get down...that person better be ready to get down. and then again how does the sorority know that this female is asking questions on the internet.

i agree with 504. everybody always wants to complain about the fact that ppl dont show interest in this or ppl dont support that but when somebody asks a simple question ppl act as if its a problem. I feel like if u dont wanna answer a question..DONT- move on 2 the next thread. this is a forum with hundreds of users and im sure somebody else will. i can understand it gets annoyin wit ppl askin the same question but i mean damn the girl didnt feel like bein an internet fein by searchin hundreds of outdated threads for one topic when its more convenient to just make a new post. i, personally, have had questions about things and when i tried to search the forums i got topics dating back to 2004 and the latest post being in like June so searching ends up being pointless.
