Im starting my junior year in high school next fall and i play the alto and tenor saxophones[mainly alto] i had a leadership position in my band but i doubt i will continue to hold one at least not until my senior year. ive been playing alto sax so far for about 6 or 7 years[4th grade to 11th so far] i dream of being the Marching 100 though i dont know what kind of talent there program requires and how well i stand. i have a good amount of achievements. I made All County and Tri County bands 3 consecutive years in middle school in maryland and i moved to albuquerque where i was approved to audition for all state by a music teacher in a mock audition program my band has. this summer i was selected along with other kids in new mexico to partcipate in a 2 week european tour to 7 different countries. What does it take to be aprt of the Marching 100? How should I go about auditioning and expressing my interest? what exactly are they looking for???? any 1 with answers pls help!
