Once a week I have a conversation at work that goes like this:
Them: When does your son report to school ?
Me: Mumble mumble....August
Them: August what ??
Me: 17th ( someone told me that over the phone). I have seen nothing in
writing.
Them: Well, if you're taking off to take him to school, don't forget to put it on the calendar.
Me: (silently) If I knew, it would be on the calendar.
How can this be June and students have not received dorm assignments or anything telling them when to show up. His classmates have their room assignments, room mates and class schedule. I'm not naming names. Those who know, know. Is it asking too much to know when you're supposed to show up????
