aight yall......me and my roomate are always talking about playing on the next level and what it takes to get there. I trully believe that i can play on that level or will be able too bout time i leave here... i know that coming from a small school will make it harder but i been thinking... just give me one year in the league.. i will play football somewhere else after i leave here.. whether it be canadian, nfl europe, or arena.... i mean even the new orleans vodoo players make $65,000 a year plus a free apartment for about 3 months worth of work. the league minium in the nfl is $450,000 a year. what yall think... if i don;t make it to the league... is it better to try and start a career in my field or play till i can't no more... cause u only play for so long .... u got till death to start working in ya field.

I think if you do not go into the NFL, you should go into another sector. The ones in the other sectors are always selected to go into the NFL later if they are able to play on a stellar level. Plus, you might get recruited into the NFL. One of the best football players of all time, Walter Payton, went to JSU. Just play your hardest, and if you have the skills, there is nothing to worry about.

Maybe you could take up modeling? You fine as HAYELL and you know they diggin chocolate brothas right now 8) But haven't some NFL players come out of JSU? I know I saw a game where some of the players were from Grambling and JSU. Are you entering the draft? Good luck sweetie!

I believe that you should play after you obtain a degree...You seem to have a real passion for the game, it's on you if you are physically prepared to compete at the next level...but it seem like your heart is definitely there... Obtain your degree, set out to play somewhere making some money so that if football does not work out you have money to pursue other ventures... Just my take on the situation!

I say go for the only sure thing, that education and then start your thing in your field or at least have that as a back up. They way I see it if the oppurtunity comes around to play in the NFL then capitalize on it bacause a lot people don't get that oppurtunity, but don't settle for no $65,000 in arena football that's chump changes, I am sure you can make more than by pursuing a career in your field.

Get your degree so you have a back up plan or yer gonna be like my Manager at work. This man passed up a free ride to Howard cuz he didn't want to go to a black school or be around his momma. So he went to Williams and Mary, he had ONE MORE SEMESTER OF SCHOOL LEFT, then got invited to the Combine and BLEW OUT his knee right before he could go. So now he's stuck in Retail Hell, and he's only 8 credits away from a degree.

^^^^^^Thats sum messed up shyt^^^^^^ I can give u the same advice my dad gave me... The NFL is not goin anywhere, stay in school build up your skills then at the end of your senior year enter the draft. You may go to a small school but u can still impress coaches and scouts at the NFL Combine. And even if u dont make it, u would still have a degree to fall back on. Im planning on doin the same thing. Good luck to u brotha...........
