It IS for me!! How Do I start?

So I'm finishing my Freshman year at TSU....I do want to join a certain organization next year.... How did YOU get started? How did YOU approach one of the members of the organization? If you did. If YOU did NOT, then how did YOU join the organization you are apart of. I want to know what steps and the process it took YOU to join YOUR organization! Which means no smartelics or sassy sarcastic comments please But Yeah I plan to get on it next year, this summer and hopefully become a member next Spring when the next intake is!!! Don't give me no advice or what I should do.....You can do that ONLY if its going to help, but most important I want YOU to be straight to the point and let me know what YOU did to get into your organization as far as your approach to them, etc.., Also I researched on our schools website and it has the advisor/polemarch of the Houston Chapter for the organization and his cell number....Should I contact or email him or discuss anything with him? BE NICE EVERYONE! especially you Mr. Alpha man CNels

me..... i knew my soror cuz she was my dorm's r.a., so naturally we become cool aquaintances, i expressed some interest after attending some events they had on campus and she introduced me to the rest of my sorors, luckily for me they were nice and genuine...they saw my face enough to be on speaking terms and after the informational, it was on... thats what i did
