Graduate Biology Program

The Graduate Biology Programs at Indiana University, Bloomington are looking for students interested in pursuing PhD's in the following areas of Biology: Ecology, Evolution & Behavior (EEB); Microbiology; Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB), and Plant Biology.  The $55 application fee is waived for all underrepresented students (Black/African American; Hispanic/Latino; Native American/American Indian; Native Hawaiians/Pacific Islanders) -- contact department for more information.  Students are fully supported with either assistantships (teaching or research) and/or fellowships.  Competitive fellowship opportunities are available for underrepresented students; including the Adam Herbert Fellowship which is reserved only for HBCU graduates in science disciplines.  The Herbert Fellowship awards up to five, four-year fellowships worth $25,000 per year to HBCU students each year.  For more information, please visit http://www.bio.indiana.edu.
