I'm a senior in high school. I live in a small city in South Carolina. I really want to get out the small city and go to a university in a bigger and faster paced city. I want to go to a HBCU that is off the chain in social activities, while being the best in academics too. I've been accepted to FAMU, but I'm waiting on my acceptance letter from Howard. I have a 3.6, 20 on ACT, and 1090 (math and verbal) SAT. I'm still wondering if I have a chance at Howard? My intended major is Business Management. From what I hear, both schools are elite in their Schools of Business. I really want to know which school has the best overall environment, social life, tradition, and academics.

I'm not too knowledgeable about FAMU but from my research Howard has the best School of Business among HBCU. In fact, I'm going there as a freshman this fall and majoring in Business Management. Whatever school you find is good for you, is your school. check out collegeprowler.com, they have great information written by students. Good luck on your choice.
