Nothin From Financial Aid Yet!!!!

Ok I been waitin for Ms. McGill to call me back or get back to me...but for 2 months she been 2 busy and won't even answer her phone.... HELP ME!!!!!!!

Financial Aid is crazy, its like talking to a brickwall. sometimes i wonderif they know its their job to answer questions - with answers that make sense and in a timely manner?

I haven't had any financial aid problems yet. They always answer the phone when I called and explain everything to me when I have questions without an attitude. I think they know my voice, but if you call the office around the time they open they should answer the phone and won't be as busy as they might be in the afternoon. I don't have a direct person I go to, I just call the office phone (202) 806-2820 and press #1. I hope everything works out for you!

and they is some rude **** muthafukkas down there....u ask a question and they get an attitude like its not what they paid to do....like they mad @ me for makin them do THEY DAMN JOB!!!!!

is anyone else being asked to take out $20,000 or more loan? I was just wondering what all this money is for because the numbers they gave before the aid were alot less, especially room and board which the aid letter has listed as $11,000 a year but residence life websites room rates are only $4,000 a year and with highest priced meal plan the prices still don't add up. now I called financial aid and they have no clue what I'm talking about or what I should do. what is wrong with these people or is it just me?

correct me if im wrong, but...... the 20,000 loan offer is something that is offered to all students across the board, even if u've received a HU scholly, in ur financial packet they;ll still offer it............ with that in mind, even though your own total cost for HU might only be, for example, 12,000......there are law and medical students who yearly costs who equate to about 20, 000-23,000.......HU has to offer enough in loans to cover ALL students......
