From the “Comments” section:
Stay off social media. Don't get sucked into comments sections. Learn how to teach efficiently (your local teaching center can help). Read some books on time management; Laura Vanderkam's "168 Hours: You Have More Time Than You Think" is very thought provoking. Refuse to be drawn into the black hole of grad student angst. And above all -- figure out before you start WHY you are doing the PhD, AND what you are going to do with it. Do you need it, want it, or...just don't know what else to do -- and will you get a job with it?
