I was just wondering how being a legacy works. There are NO Greeks in my family whatsoever so this wouldnt be applied to me...but I know that if your mother/father was apart of a certain organization...that you are obviously a legacy to that organization....but can you be a legacy to a greek org thru a brother/sister, a cousin, aunt, uncle,or grandparent? Im just basically asking are you only a legacy if your parent is a member to that org, or any family member you have in that organization makes you a legacy?

A Delta is a legacy only if her mother, daughter, or sister is a Delta. But this does not guarantee membership in Delta. My baby sister starts college this fall and wants to pursue Delta, but she is not guaranteed membership. She must meet all requirements and receive chapter vote like any other applicant. I love my sorority!

hmmmm... what if she is adopted? hmmmm... If they can trace a direct line from a founder, but lets say that her Gma, Ma, and aunties are all AKAs.. then is she still considered a "legacy" of sorts? I'm sure Inquiring minds want to know.. lol.. shyt.. I couldn't get legacy anyway.

Sweetie dont frown, u dont want to get in off of legacy. Its like u are already in before ur actually in. U wanna work for yours. Trust, u will feel better and i will get more respect as well. Like i said, i know a legacy thats named 100% guaranteed b/c her mom is an AKA and her mother was VP of Student Affairs so she was automatically in. I dont think they liked her very much either. I never saw her hang with t hem, then she got that line name, then i think she had some issues. That broad was walkin around in her braw and **** shorts on the phone in the hallway one day. I was like ewwwww. I know she saw me frown up at her
