Has anyone heard her cd? I just heard one of her songs (For Real) and I love it. That girl can sing and its got me contemplating buying her cd, but I'm a little worried I have not heard any other songs. Anyone have her cd?

It was called Groove Theory. They were hot back then, I just heard their old hit "Tell Me" on the radio the other day. I've been hearing good reviews about her cd.

(rolls eyes)..YALL GON GET ENOUGH OF RECYCLING MY OLD TOPICS! Yeah Amel is one of the greatest singers the 90's produced, lead singer of "Groove Theory" who won a music award for their single "Tell Me". She has one of the purest, most effortless voices in alternative r&b, BUT! I wouldn't recommend buying BRAVEBIRD. I bought it last summer thinking everything would be as good as the single "For Real," but was disappointed. There are 12 tracks, and only about 4 of them are actually worth listening to, "For Real" being the album's standout. I suggest borrowing it from someone who already has it. Her previous album was much more creative.

Her last cd had ma cuts "Get Up," "Misery," and "I n I" on there. I still listen to it a few years later so Im sure this one will be a timeless classic.
