DELAY FOR NFL KICKOFF SHOW

TV bosses at ABC in America have demanded tonight's (09SEP04) NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE (NFL) season kickoff show comes with a 10-second delay - just in case there's another wardrobe malfunction. TV chiefs don't want to risk broadcasting an embarrassing moment - like JANET JACKSON's **** exposure at the NFL's SUPERBOWL halftime show back in February (04). And so, as well as telling all acts involved that they want to vet their performances, song choices and costumes, the TV bosses won't be broadcasting the show live. The hour-long show, telecast from the GILLETTE STADIUM in Foxboro, Massachusetts, and Jacksonville, Florida, will feature performances by DESTINY'S CHILD, SIR ELTON JOHN and MARY J BLIGE. article
