I would beg to differ. There are several white women (and men) who have much to offer to the entire community, including the African-American race. My mother, who is white, for instance, has recently became a minister in the A.M.E. Church and has done many great things for the congregation with out leading them to assimilate into the so-called "white-mainstream" culture.
