Whats The Biggest Difference Between Ur Hometown And Schools Location? Like the difference in the way they talk, dress, act, etc. I am especially curious of those that come from the East Coast (Philly, New York, Jersey,B-More ,etc.) and go to school in the South (especially Va. my new home next year!) I just want to know if anyone has changed thier appearance or attitude to adjust to thier current settings or do you rock the same clothes, hairstyle/haircut, and attitude u had back at home.

I havnt changed my style since I've been in college. Its few people from every at NSU who bring their own unique style to the campus, but for the most part it seems to me most people in that go to NSU rock the similiar styles even though they are from different states. You cant tell where most people are from because of what they rock because what the style they have where they are from are similar to the styles we have here in Norfolk

Hotep, I live in Columbus and I attend school in Wilberforce Oh or Xenia oh which ever one you prefer. The biggest diffence is that I don't know where stuff is at and it's really small! Prince

My mom and dad went to Wilberforce and my step dad went to Central...which one fo u go too? I am from Cincinnati, Ohio and I go to school in ATL. The biggest difference is that Atlanta had a lot more succesful black people, more activities for black people...its just a better city for black people...it's way bigger, there's more to do, especially downtown, and the shopping is better. I dnt think the people are nicer......

In Bmore we have a bus system that runs after 9 and on the weekends(like a real city :x ), in Bowie they don't. The MetroBus is wack. But the Metro Rail is fun wit all the color lines . Sadly I'd much rather be in D.C. At least I'd be able to go places especially a real mall and not Bowie Town Center. Can I get a NY&CO and a bus to get there? I have discovered that I love City Life. PG is not all as its' made up to be. Go go is played heavily but I got my club music to combat that. Plus go go is getting a lil bearable now.

I'm NOrth Jersey and got to school in Delaware (it ain't south, but d@mn, besides right around the campus its country) Nobody has really changed their stlye. U can identify where people are from by how they dress. Everyone seems to act like they would if they were home

This is true...Also in NC the Metro AKA GTA runs every hour which sometimes is a pain in the ****. The style of clothes and some hairstyles(females) is different than in MD/DC.The way ppl talk isnt that different its just that ppl down here got an accent.
