Last Saturday I was with the band in Delaware and I came up with an idea. Why doesnt our pep squad travel to away games?!?!?! I dont know if anyone on here is in the pepsquad but if their are I have an idea that will allow yall to cheer on the teams..even at away games.
Why dont you make the pepsquad an official organization. This way yall can fundraise to get money to pay for busses or gas money to be able to travel to these away games. Eventhough we only have 2 more left, we could use all of the help we (the FORCE) can get to hype up the football team. For those who dont know, Hampton has to be one of the most hated black schools in the world.. people are out to get us and our football team.. We saw it first hand in Delaware, and we want yall to be there to help us support our team. As yall may not know the football teams busses were vandalized in Delaware and they were down the whole game.. we tried as hard as we could to hype them up but it wasnt good enough...too many Delaware people.
So WHATS UP!!?!?!

They vandalized the buses? 
That ****. That is the worst, I can't believe people would actually stoop so low as to vandalize buses. I mean it's not like we can't pay to have them fixed, but it is the simple principle. Our team nor fans would stoop to those measures because we have class. But when did they do this? And did they ever find out who did it? I swear it hurt my heart when I found out we lost that game, because I have friends on the football team. I hope we beat NSU this weekend too.

The pep squad is an official organization this year, through SGA and Sports Information. Call Nichole Boston at x5811 and let her know you're interested in joining Blue Haze . Membership is $15 including your t-shirt and "spirit gear". They meet Sundays at 2pm in the Student Union 2nd floor lounge.
They had plans to make a bus trip to Del State, but it fell through because admin couldn't get the buses in time, or something like that. I believe that they're going to make the trip to Savannah State, the rest of the games for the football season except SCSU are home games. Holla!
