DEFINITION OF A HAMPTON FEMALE/MALE

Hey ya'll! I was reading some posts of fellow Hamptonians and in looking at the way they represented themselves online. I was wondering, what is the definition of a Hampton Male or what makes him standout from the rest? What is the definition of a Hampton Female or what makes her standout from the rest?

A while back, Dean Hopewell wrote a poem entitled "Profile of a Hampton Man" that I think personifies the ideal Hampton gentleman. If I can find it, I will post it. Holla!

At our Freshman Convocation. Both Dean Hopewell and Dean Long gave their definition of a Hamptonian Man and Woman. Listening to it, I felt that those were both accurate descriptions of what men and women should be. I was so enamored with the fact that there were men like this walking around HU's campus. And of course while I was on my high from this description, several people burst my bubble saying this man doesn;t exist on HU's campus. :cry: Needless to say that kinda made me sad, but I do think there are guys here who do exemplify a Hampton man. And I believe there are females who are what Dean Long describes as a Hampton woman.
