Blacks and Hispanics

How do black people feel about hispanics. I mean they have came over they werent enslaved to come but they voluntarily came over. They are more of the majority than we are. They come over here and they steal our culture just as much as the white people. They on welfare just as much as we are and they get really just as much respect. And now a days they will get a job before alot of middle class or some consider below middle class black folk. I mean teenagers cant get a job cause a crew full of mexicans got em all. I am not racist. But hispanics according to the Census report are a greater population than us. I am not saying lets go make a bunch of babies to gain status but what can we do. and The thing is there women are even respected more than our black women. Maybe I am hating a little bit but...What do yall think? Worse to me is they think cause they in the ghetto with us, they can say ****? But dat aint so, and we not to let them know that is a word that they dont have the privilege to say no more than a white man.

Hotep, You bring forth a good argument. However, first let me inform you that the only reason Hisp. out number black is because "Black" Folks don't correctly fill out cenus cards. Many don't check the proper ethic group. Nevertheless, Hisp. have come and taken many jobs that many "Blacks" don't want. We've gotten to good for a $7.00 Hr. Job. But to the Hisp. that is booming BUCKS. They come from a country where they may not even make $7.00 a week. Therefore, our youth can't get jobs because the Hisp. will work, work, and work and get the Job done fast. The problem now is that many employer don't need to hire black youth any more because many don't get the job done like Hisp. SAD TO SAY BUT MANY ARE LAZY!!! HAVE &&& doing the Job. So why hire them when the HISP. Will do it right the first time. I can recall when I saw a Hisp. Crew of roof builder put on a entire church roof in less then a day; it amazed me. All I'm saying is we need to get on your P and Q. Prince...

well maybe this should give african americans more of a reason to actually go t oschool, earn that degree, and get that professional possition that they may want. we should maybe encouarage others to work harder for the sake of the culture and ethnicity. just sitting back and watching them take all of the "jobs" and complaining wont get us anywhere but if we make a plan and aim for it that might.

You are so completely ignorant, itz overwhelming.... :wink: Why did you have to call her ignorant, she is just expressing how she feels about Hispanics and there new found place in America. I can understand where she is coming from because I am from Reading Pa. and the entire city is made up of Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Cubans, Mexicans and any other type of hispanic you can think of. It upsets me because they came here to America yet they don't want to adjust to American life. For example the high school I used to go to had more bilingual classes then regular classes. So in doing this we are saying that it is okay for them to come here but not have to learn to speak English, which is unfair because when Africans come to the U.S. those accomindations aren't made for them or any other type of person who comes from another country. To me it seems they came here simply to take advantege of what the U.S. has to offer them, yet they have no respect for anyone but there own people. It is unreal to me how they came here and simply took over and created bussinesses that only benefit them, but what upsets me the most is the fact that once again we allowed for another culutre to come and step on our toes. It was said that Hispanics are enrolling in college faster then we are, why is that? why are we once again taking the back seat to another race. We always let everyone else in on our ideas our style our culture and then they take it over and leave us behind. Like BET right now is catering to Puerto Rico why? Because Fat Joe came out with lean back? Do you think that the Hispanic television programs are worried about us. No i know they aren't because on my television there are 15 to 20 strictly hispanic channels and not once have I seen one of us on there. They seprate themselves from us, even when we have welcomed them. When it was time to vote, they didn't vote with us they had Votelatino/latina why is that? where is the Voteafrica or Votechinese. See what I'm saying why is it that they are so privilged. As for black men acting as if Hispanic women are so much more extordinary then we are, I blame that all on the television. That new Nina Sky song praises all hispanic countries and there women, but have all black men in the video, and where is it shown the most? On BET and that is supposed to be our station what a joke. Last but not least them using the N word freely, I deal with that everyday. They act like its normal, but they feel as though black people aren't on there level or we aren't as equal as they are, but yet they want to do what we do. Everything I had to say is from a first hand expierence, I love everyone, but the hispanic movement is something I have yet to except. :arrow:

You are talking about Hispanic's in general, because if you are your talking about Afro-Hispanics I am of portugesse background and they are still considered hispanic, but they did go through slavery, the only reason the name hispanic came to be was because of the **** trade when there was only Amerindians, Whites, and Blacks. i am not taking offense because i am assuming your talking about Mexicans, which no does not give them a right to speak of the word "****" which in terms means ignorant, but every other race of people think they are better than us "Niggers" or Black folk so they are going to try to superioritize ( i am 100% i spelled that wrong) themselves against us.. yes i have a problem with Fat Joe saying ****, Yes i have a problem with anyone saying the word that has scorn our people mentally and physically.

Most of those television programs, the ones that I think you are talking about, are for Spanish speakers. So, if dont speak Spanish then....
