Girl, they either didn't get accepted here, hating that they have nothing to do on their campus, or either have this preception that we are spoiled, rich brats who eats from silver spoons.
The hate just let's you know that HIU is the sh**.

What's really sad is the people that go to hampton that hate on it with nothing good to say ever about their time spent here

The majority of people who write that stuff are not Hamptonians nor have ever been to Hampton. Usually, people from NSU and Howard who feel like they have something to prove.
Are you really that self-conscious that you have to make up reasons to start an argument? How insecure do you have to be to go through that kind of trouble?
Usually if you look at the people doing it, they are exactly like the "people" they are criticising - arrogant, ignorant, and have a bone to pick with the world. Get over it. If you have something to prove, then let your actions do the talking.
If you look at all black schools over the past 30 years, most have stayed where they are, several have fallen off, and one has grown by leaps and bounds. Guess which one. We don't need to waste breath on discussions of what famous people have gone there and what "great traditions" originated there although Hampton can brag with the best. Look at what schools have accomplished academically and financially in the past 20 years, and one will stand out.
Results talk, BS walks. And a lot of non-Hamptonians are walking.
