INTEGRATION

Recently I attended a workshop for future educators of america, and in that workshop a professor from a HBCU made a comment. and i quote " Integration has failed in today's society...... Black families only their children to go to schools in black neighborhoods. I am deeply sorrowful for the ignorance of my people." after she made this comment, I became very upset, then as I began to look around at different school systems I began to see that she had a point. All districts are the same, blacks go to one school, whites to another and hispanics to another.
