Well I have seen men in frat shirts that weren't in the frat. The guy I saw asked me if it was something wrong (by the look on my face). I explained that each group takes pride in their organization and that it is seen as disrespectful to wear the clothing. He stated that he wouldn't wear the shirt again. I even saw a girl once with a different sorority's keychain and she wasn't a member. She was young so I politely asked for the chain (before the members saw her with it) and gave it to a member of the organization. Never a man in a sorority shirt, that is wild. I would try to talk to the person and let them know what's up. You know our white counterparts, do that stuff. Girlfriends wear their frat boyfriend's sweatshirt, etc. Just my .22 cent

I REMEMBER A WHILE AGO I SAW THIS OLD WHITE MAN IN AN AKA SHIRT. THE SHIRT LOOKED PRETTY OLD, SO HE MAY HAVE GOTTEN IT FROM A THRIFT STORE SOMEWHERE. WHO TOOK THAT PIC OF THE MAN IN THE DELTA SHIRT?

Cosigns.. I could never take that kind of shirt to the thrift shop.. nuh uh.. Same thing goes with their pins.. Its unfortunate where the person will die w/o an heir, and they donate their stuff to a thrift shop/charity, and then random people find it at the stores.... I know, I found a pin for Tri Delta (White sorority) and although it wasn't D9, I felt a measure of respect for it, so I bought it, turned it in to the local chapter, and got reimbursed for it.... Lord knows.. If I saw a white man in a SGRho, AKA, ZphiB, or DST shirt.. nuh uh.. I'd have to rectify that situation... and I am not greek... I hope that Que took a good shot and then busted ole' dude's head wide open.... now THAT would've been picture worthy...

I think Omegas enjoy their purple and gold nalia too much to wear a other nalia.... But if it is support then..... Then I'm gonna wear Sigma shirts to be in support of my man!!!....MANN, I wouldn't DARE to do that mess!!! Even if it he was the hubby/boyfriend, then dont you think the Delta girlfriend/wifey would say before he went to the store, "DONT wear THAT SHIRT??" I just think it's weird because of all things most people hand down old tees and nalia that they don't want anymore to Neos. How this guy got this shirt is a mystery....

You know that is a good thing that you did that...if I had seen something in a thrift shop, i would probably buy it and give it to someone as a gift. Even if it was tore down, for instance, Omega they take their shirts and make them into another shirts.

It's possible that he bought the shirt. Where I live you do not have to prove to the vendor that you are in an organization in order to purchase that org's paraphenalia. Some people who are not knowledgeable about BGLOs will purchase an item because they "think" it's "cool." Inferno, as a person who is not affiliated with a BGLO how would you go about "rectifying" the situation?
